During this discussion, the Herberts will discuss their latest publication, “The Essential Green Book Beyond The Freedom of Travel Then & Now,” which addresses stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination within the travel and tourism industry.
In addition, the Herberts’ will share information on their newest project, The “New Green Book for Travel“, an online platform inspired by the historic “Negro Travelers Green Book“, to serve as a global travel guide and directory, providing booking access to authentic food and heritage cultural experiences, and points of interest in African American history for persons of color, digitally.
