Food

Chinese Cuisines are an integral part of the Chinese culture. Most traditional dishes boast their unique features and exquisite cooking styles through their bountiful color, aroma, taste and appearance.

Music

Chinese Music is an influential tradition in the Chinese culture that has evolved over time as musicians develop various styles through the adaptation of many types of instruments. There are various kinds of traditional music that are popular in Chinese culture from Chinese opera music to ensemble/orchestra music.

Art

Dating back as far as 10,000 BC, Chinese Art is one of the primeval traditions in the world that has evolved with time, and religion, politics, and philosophy, which are important elements that have played an intrinsic role in ancient Chinese art. Expressed in the form of calligraphy, poetry, and painting and these styles had their own characteristics depending on the dynasty.

Language

The Chinese Language is the oldest written language throughout the world and has been in use for over 3000 years. The language in its written form is highly regarded as a form of art and it is often, compared to being one of the world’s most difficult languages to learn, because of the complexities associated with remembering the characters. There are surprisingly over 20,000 characters that are used within the Chinese language. It is worth mentioning that how you articulate a word can change its meaning, as the Chinese Language is referred to as a tonal language.
